Hi,
I’m launching a Patreon focused on teaching Manim.
Over time, a lot of people have asked variations of the same questions:
how to actually structure Manim projects beyond toy examples
how to debug Manim without wasting days
how to use ChatGPT / LLMs without generating unusable code
how to do 3D or VTK-style visualizations properly
how to turn math or physics ideas into clean, reusable animations
That’s what this Patreon is for.
This is not a SaaS plan and not a Mathify feature.
It’s a separate, teaching-focused offering for people who want to seriously learn and use Manim and related tooling.
How it works
The Patreon has two tiers, intentionally simple.
$100 / month — Workshops
This tier gives access to:
One live Manim workshop per month
Practical, code-first sessions
Real examples: project structure, debugging, performance, workflows
Q&A during the session
Access to all workshop recordings
Topics will rotate, but expect things like:
Manim fundamentals that aren’t obvious from the docs
Structuring real animation projects
Debugging and performance issues
Using LLMs to generate, refine, and clean up Manim code
ManimVTK (which I invented) and 3D visualization workflows
This tier is for people who want structured learning without committing to 1-on-1 time.
$1,000 / month — Weekly 1-on-1 tutoring (very limited)
This tier is for people who want direct, hands-on help.
It includes:
One private 1-on-1 session per week (60 minutes)
Help on your actual projects
Manim, ManimVTK, and LLM → Manim workflows
Code review, debugging, and architectural guidance
Workshop access included
Availability is intentionally limited so this stays sustainable and valuable.
Who this is for (and who it isn’t)
This Patreon is meant for:
students
educators
researchers
developers
science / math content creators
It’s not designed for casual browsing or passive content consumption.
It’s a small, focused setup for people who want real instruction.
Why I’m doing this
Teaching Manim properly and maintaining tools in this space takes time and focus.
This Patreon is a way to:
offer structured learning
work directly with people who want deeper guidance
and support continued development of related projects (including Mathify)
If that sounds useful to you, you can find the details here:
Thanks for reading — and thanks to everyone who’s been following and using my work so far.
Appreciatively,
José
